She's an internationally recognized speaker and the president of Right to the Heart Ministries and the CEO of the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA).
She’s both the publisher of Leading Hearts Magazine, a multiple Evangelical Press Association-award winning magazine for Christian women, and Arise Daily, a daily e-devotional.
She's the mother of two grown children and lives with her husband in Colorado.

Tara grew up in Cary, North Carolina where she married her high school sweetheart, Tim, whom she met in junior high school. They live in Cary with their 2 teenagers: Will & Caroline, and Jake, their yellow lab (who should have been named Marley!). Tara’s favorite things are to spend time with her extended family and close friends. She loves to eat her husband’s amazing, creative cooking. She enjoys her kids’ sporting activities. When on the road traveling for her speaking events she looks for the Mothership, aka: Starbucks. And she drives anyone crazy that goes along by making them eat at Chick-fil-A most every meal which she lovingly refers to as Home Base.
Kay Thomas has spent over 35 years serving in children’s ministry in churches as well as a parachurch ministry. She loves to mentor young leaders, as well as speak into the lives of women offering a message of hope and freedom. She is passionate about seeing women of all ages live into their God given potential. She believes that each woman is uniquely designed by God with a purpose, and loves to help them see who they are in Christ-daughters of the King of Kings!
Family comes first for Kay! Whether it is spending time with her husband Dan, or her adult children and their spouses, or being GiGi to her grandchildren, Kay loves family gatherings, cooking for them all, laughing, playing games, and making memories.
In her spare time, Kay works with Touring Theatre of North Carolina both as an actor as well as being their production coordinator.
